Reaching in,
we strive to grow
in Christ.
Reaching out, we nurture God’s world.
The
purpose of Tsawwassen United Church is to provide and nourish a
fellowship of men, women and children who come to know the love of God
and serve Jesus as Lord and thereby become a caring, loving humble
community of believers, respectful and sensitive to others.
What We Value
-
Growing in our Christian Faith;
-
Creative and inspirational worship;
-
Encouraging people of every age to exercise their God given gifts and
talents;
-
Each individual's search in claiming their faith;
-
Caring for each other in our community and reaching out to care for
others;
-
The inclusion of people of all ages, genders, races and marital status
in the life of the church.

Youth Encountering the Spirit
Psalm Writing Workshop
There will be a Psalm Writing Workshop at TUC for youth (ages 13 to 19).
The facilitator is Ray McGinnis, author of the book Writing the Sacred.
Ray uses his book as a starting place to explore the connections between
writing, the sacred, and poetry. He introduces Psalms and then in a very
fun way leads the group in the writing of their own Psalms. People who
wish may purchase a copy of his book at the event. All youth are welcome
to attend.

Fall Fair
It’s time to start cleaning out your storage space, cupboards and
garages of all the valuable items that someone else might cherish!
Please bring in your empty jam and relish jars now so they can be filled
and sold at the Fair. We have no storage space at the Church for
anything else and ask that you bring items in the week of the Fair. |
